- Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked
- Visually inspect for signs of water/pest damage
- Remove newspapers, flyers or junk mail from entrances
- Confirm lawn/garden are being maintained and snow removal is being done
- Run water in all sinks and tubs
- Flushing toilets, checking for leaks in visible plumbing
- Visual inspection for leaks
- Visual inspection of the electrical panel for tripped breakers
- Test batteries in smoke/carbon monoxide alarms
- Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked
- Visual inspection of HVAC
- Ensure thermostat is set to clients’ desired temperature
- Setting and checking all house alarms and surveillance systems
- Test lighting and replace light bulbs
